THE DARKNESS - New Video For 'With A Woman'

Currently racing round the UK on their first headlining tour since November 2011, THE DARKNESS have issued forth a video for the track ‘With A Woman’, taken from their top 5 album ‘Hot Cakes’ (released last August).   The clip is a prequel (if you will) to the band’s previous video, ‘Everybody Have A Good Time’, which was a cautionary tale of global economics, corporate greed and the love between one man and his maths-genius bearfriend, so it stands to reason that 'With A Woman' is a high-school love story homage to the MTV videos of the '80s, which also unfolds the secrets origins of our ursine love-interest. 

The band have been touring the world since August of last year, first with Lady Gaga and then their own US and European dates.   The UK tour continues tonight in Newcastle, goes to Wolverhampton tomorrow and finishes with a Hammersmith Apollo show in London on Thursday 7th March 2013.   The Darkness then carry on back to Europe before Australian and New Zealand shows later this spring.

AMELIA LILY: NEW VIDEO FOR "PARTY OVER"

Amelia Lily last week announced the title of her forthcoming debut album; Be A Fighter will be released through Xenomania/Sony on April 29th and will be preceded by her third single, Party Over on April 14th.

“Only 15 months ago, I’d just finished my GCSEs and left school. A couple of months later, I was on the biggest television show going, got knocked out, came back, got to the final, came third, & got a record deal.  Now I’ve released two singles, shot videos in Los Angeles, and recorded my first album!” Meet Amelia Lily, an 18-year-old on the crest of a wave.
