No date has been set for the hip-hop group’s new release ‘A Better Tomorrow’
Wu Tang-Clan have announced that their long-awaited new album ‘A Better Tomorrow’ is “coming soon”.
The hip-hop group wrote on their official Facebook page, “The new Wu album “A Better Tomorrow” coming soon,” but haven’t set an exact release date yet.
In a November interview with the Association Press, band member RZA said that he expected the new record to be completed in 45 days.
RZA also spoke of the differences between recording now and in his youth. “When you’re a young man, you’re hustling and you’ve got 12 hours a day to dedicate to music,” said the 44-year-old. “It might be more than that. The energy that’s important is constantly pouring out. But when you’ve got to go seek for the energy, it becomes a little more difficult. Wu-Tang is forever. I’ll never take back that statement. But we haven’t recorded a lot of studio albums. This is the first album we’ve recorded in seven years, actually. And we can’t wait seven years for another album.”
The group recently celebrated 20 years since the release of their debut album ‘Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)’.
